I consider my artwork "Fiber Play"; combining hand-dyed silk and wool fabric, felting, fusing, free-motion threadwork, and hand stitching to create embellished surfaces with texture and interest. I may begin the creative process with a journal entry, a piece of beautiful fabric, or the purchase of an unusual element such as porcupine quills.
