Kathy Brown designs and weaves original, hand-woven baskets. She specializes in weaving colorful twill designs. Many of her baskets are woven with reed, a sinuous product from Southeast Asia ideally suited to basket making. She creates unique baskets as well as modernized reed versions of older "carrying" baskets. She also weaves baskets incorporating white-tailed deer antlers.
